Welcome to Panorama's second annual youth issue, where we celebrate the next generation of Porsche enthusiasts who continue to buy and restore (“Team Effort”), fix (“The Kids Are All Wrenching”), and race our favorite cars (“The Future Is Now”), breathing fresh life into our club.

All this, plus a new head of Porsche Motorsport, the latest news from the automotive industry, and the recent activities of PCA’s many regions.

After an unfortunate crash, a 914-6 (“The Mule”) became the testing platform for the experimental 916. Even if your family road trip choice is a 2022 Taycan Cross Turismo, you’re still likely to hear the familiar cries of “Are We There Yet?” We attempt to find out whether Porsche’s newest EV is up to the Great American Family Road Trip. Sometimes something as simple as a car can bring a couple closer, or solidify a friendship, like the 1995 993 (“Riviera Blues”) that brought one couple years of happiness before finding a new home and creating fresh memories. This month it’s the Carrera GTS and GT3 Touring: very different, but both surely “Guaranteed to Satisfy.” We then turn our attention to the 718 Boxster T (“T is for Tighten,”), whose purity more than anything is the key to its driving magic. Because Porsche offers the 911 in such a dizzying array of variants, it is our job, neé duty, to test them and report back to you, purely in the interest of journalism.
